The “sommelier caviste ambassadeur en gastronomie” is an expert in wine and cellar management for restaurants, wine merchants or private individuals that he accompanies and advises. He can also work for wine estate, cooperatives, traders and wine sales companies. It is aimed at professionals, but also to individuals by using his knowledge of distribution networks (internet, medium and large supermarkets, door to door, sales meetings, home sales, restaurants, shops, fairs and trade shows, for export).

The skills of the sommelier-cellarman today are not limited to oenology. His knowledge of culinary specialties from different regions, from different countries, his knowledge of coffees, teas, cigars … make him a true representative of gastronomy, wine, spirits and products from around the world.  And particularly the know-how of food and wine pairings, because choosing the right product and knowing how they harmonize is essential. He transmits the culture of wine and various noble products and explains their specificities through advice, tastings or events promotions or discovery.

The training is accessible by the VAE.

  • EU 1: Controlling wine purchases to enhance the value of its offer and its result
    Duration: 11 days (77 hours)
    The content allows you to master the basics of wine, tasting and good practices to offer an attractive wine selection.
  • UE2: Master the sale of wine
    Duration: 15 days (possibility of spirits, beers and cocktails based content … Consult us).
    The content helps to master the basics of wine, tasting and sales techniques in B-to-B and B- to-C.
  • UE 3: Master the knowledge of wine
    Duration: 19 days
    The content helps to master the basics of wine, tasting and the major wine producing regions.
  • UE 4: Master the organization of wine tourism events and tastings
    Duration: 12 days
    The content allows you to master the basics of wine, the design and delivery of events related to wines and gastronomy.
  • UE 5: Master the management and development strategy of a company related to the world of gastronomy.
    Duration: 12 days
    The content allows you to master the basics of management, business management and marketing.
